Position: Senior Full Stack developer

Up to 80% treatments don’t get to market because researchers can’t find enough patients for their clinical research trials.

Clinials’ goal is to provide researchers and health professionals the tools to make their research trials easier to understand, accessible, apply for and promote to everyday people.

 

We are looking for a senior full stack developer to help extend our platform. Our platform is written with Typescript, React and NextJS on the frontend with a Serverless (lambda) backend written with Typescript.

 

In This Role, You Can Expect To

  • Collaborate in a hybrid remote/office environment on a cross-functional team including Engineering, Product, and Design to deliver excellent user experiences

  • Continuously improve the product by writing code for our application built using React and AWS technologies

  • Maintain a reliable production application for our customers

  • Enable your teammates through technical mentorship, code reviews, and pairing

 

You’re a Great Addition If You

  • Have production experience working on an application using React, building responsive layouts

  • Have production experience working with AWS serverless and managed services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch (formally ElasticSearch) and S3.

  • Strive for quality through maintainable code and comprehensive testing from development to deployment

Position: UI (UX) Designer

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is eager to extend and improve the platform. You’ll be required to understand the business and user’s needs and translate these needs into intuitive experiences with a focus on research, interaction design and technical feasibility. Experience working on SaaS products in an agile environment within a cross functional team is highly desirable.

Position:  Business Development Champion

We are looking for a Business Development Champion to consolidate the Clinials Platform’s position in the clinical trials industry.

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic collaborator to help us grow our customer base and revenue for the Clinials Platform and Services. This is a great opportunity for someone who can align the value of our solutions with the objectives and aspirations of pharmaceutical companies and research organisations. We are looking for someone who is interested in technology, or bio-technology, and, through customer research, is able to communicate the benefits of a software platform to a range of experts in their respective fields, from clinicians to sponsors and project managers. The ideal candidate is able to forge authentic relationships with potential customers, identify their needs, address these needs, communicate opportunities of collaboration, and close deals. 
  • We are looking for someone who is a hunter, and hungry for new business success, eager to join a dynamic team that is focused on expanding Clinials’ footprint in the global clinical trial market. The business development champion serves as the point of contact between the organisation and its prospects and customers: identifying and educating prospects, while supporting existing customers with information and assistance. Regularly tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events and trade shows, it’s essential that our Business Development Champion be personable and professional.
  • Additionally to the above, we are looking for someone with an analytical aptitude, interested in establishing efficient and effective business processes, smoothing Clinials’ road to success and scalability.

In this role, you can expect the following:

Responsibilities:

    • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
    • Present, promote and sell the Clinials Platform using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, often utilising product demos and presentations, and relaying objection handling
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
    • Work collaboratively with other Clinials team members and cross-business to retain clients 
    • Analyse the market’s potential, track sales and status reports
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
    • Continuously improve through feedback
 

Requirements and skills

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Highly motivated and target driven with experience in selling complex software solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace and/or MS Office 
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships and client relationships over a prolonged period of time
  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
  • Consistent over-achievement of sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Experience selling into health/pharmaceutical/research related business is ideal but not mandatory
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and leverage extended teams
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders and relationships in a sales cycle
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a very fast-paced environment with competing priorities
